Red Carpet Style: Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee Steifeld has been making waves in the fashion and movie worlds ever since she made her debut in True Grit alongside Hollywood vets Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon. Although she's only fourteen, Hailee has been appearing on red carpets wowing critics with her young yet elegant style.

Hailee looks refreshing in this blush-nude Marchesa gown. It is romantic and sweet. She styles them with this beautiful geometric nude heels that make her appear taller and slimmmer--not that she needs to. The hemline is tasteful and she looks her age without looking kiddish.

For the golden globes, the first-time nominee wore white. But instead of thinking bridal we were stunned by the confidence Hailee projected as she walked the red carpet. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, helping her look young in this minimalistic gown. The proportions are lovely and the absense of too much jewelry was a great call.

Hailee in Prada? Perfection! Her slim frame is able to handle the large and bold stripes of the gown. Her simple wavey hair compliments the structure lines and adds movement to the look. She kept with simple makeup and no jewelry save for a bold red ring on her right hand. Hailee, normally looking so prim and formal, looks lovely. This is young and beautiful.

Hailee decided to go a bit more simplistic this event. She chose a simple black dress and patent leather mary-janes in black. She accent the look with a simple bracelet and pulled her hair back into a soft side pony. The gown seems to skim her body rather than cling to it. This was a brilliant choice on Hailee's part. Lovely.

Style Highlights: Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee Steinfeld in Marchesa [left] and Miu Miu [right].

This is the perfect princess dress. She looks so youthful and fresh. She chose a pinky-nude gown with stunning embellishments all over the skirt and bodice. Simple makeup and a up-do, allow her true beauty shine through. Her ankle-lentgth skirt allows Hailee to show off her peep-toe pumps. Add a simple clutch and headband and the look is complete.

Classic and elegant. In this steamlined nude shift, she looks well beyond her years--but in a good way. A sleek, straight pony-tail keeps the look youthful and sweet. This time Hailee took a chance and went for a bold, smokey eye and deep mauve lip. An animal print clutch adds texture and print to this most minimalism look.

She keeps to her clasic, timeless look with a simple white button-down top and skirt. She adds a preppy flair by added the blue and white checkered jacket and nautical inspired shoes. Hailee keeps her long hair down to keep the outfit young but does add a deep plum lip for a bit of drama.

Hailee effortlessly stood out in the crowd in this unique Miu Miu dress. The swan print on the bodice is incredibly  fashion-forward. Her bold fashion choice is paired with more subtle accessories--simple black pumps, minimal jewelry, and a skiny black belt to emphasize her tiny waist.

Style Highlights: Elle Fanning

Elle Fanning is in the new-ish movie, Somewhere. I haven't seen it but the trailer is divine. Link here. But not only is the little sister of Dakota Fanning get rave reviews for her acting. But she's also taking the fashion world by storm. This budding fashionista seems to be everywhere. And from her pictures it isn't hard to tell why.

Elle Fanning in Marchesa [left]. Elle Fanning in a layered plaid dress paired with lace stockings and Doc Martins [right].

Elle looks angelic in this simple, yet sweet, dress from the lovely ladies at Marchesa. Her simple hair and lack of jewelry help highlight the beauty and intricate detailing of the dress. The little flare at the hemline seems like a insignificant detail but it holds a big impact. A simple pair of black mary-janes complete the look.

This look is in the total opposite end of the spectrum. But she still looks fabulous. The chaotic mix of ruffles, layers, and plaid may have looked overwhelming on another lady but Elle pulls off this look with a sweet smile and bold confidence. The maroon lace stockings are an unexpected, yet perfectly fitting, accessory. As are the brown and busted Doc Martins.

Elle Fanning in a structured black mini with a big bow detail [left] and Valentino [right].

Elle looks elegant in this structured black gown. The color contrasts beautifully against her pale skin. The bow detail from her dress is mimicked on her printed flats. The milkmaid braid on the top of her head is lovely in its simplicity. Again, Elle keeps the look young and fresh with no jewelry.

This Valentino dress is genius. The way the colors, prints, and textures work together keeps the eye interested and intrigued. Elle pulls her hair back as to not overwhelm the eye-catching patterns and prints of the dress. She also wears no jewelry and keeps her heels a simple nude to keep the attention on the gown and not the unnecessary accessories. Elle looks truly stunning.

Anne Hathaway in Vogue Magazine

Anne Hathaway is synonymous with Hollywood glamour. She is a chameleon. Anne artfully can play a dowdy girl turned fashionista, teenage princess, ground-breaking English author, and off-beat queen with equal grace and believability.

But what makes her so iconic, is her ability to connect with her fans. She seems so accessible, like the girl next door or your sister's best friend. And she appears so humble. A refreshing change of pace from the cocky celebrities that grace magazine's today.

"When you finally realize...that you can still be sexy without trying to be, it's such a great relief. When uncondensed you is enough." Hathaway in in a Miu Miu tank, draped in jewels from Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Chopard [left]. Hathaway in Isaac Mizrahi.

In her youth, Anne was very determined in pursuit of her passion for acting. "I was afraid to let anything in that might distract me...because I had so much riding on it." With actors Josephine de la Baume[left] and Raphael Personnaz [middle], wearing a bold, strapless Marchesa dress.

"I'm very open, very trusting. Some might say too trusting, because considering the amount of money that can be made from selling gossip, I could be very easily taken advantage of." Hathaway wearing Isaac Mizrahi strapless gown and Marchesa clutch.

Joking about her high hair-do Anne says, "It's Holly Golightly meets Marge Simpson." Hathway in Vera Wang [left] and with French actor, Raphael Personnaz, in a Oscar de la Renta gown and Jimmy Choo [right].

Lately I've become obsessed with the song, Animal, by Neon Trees. What songs have you been listening to? What was your favorite look? Please comment below. I love hearing your thoughts. :)

Red Carpet Style: Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway in Valentino [left] and a fitted blazer over navy blue top [right].

The Valentino gown. The Valentino gown. Sigh. That dress is the perfect princess dress. I would not change a thing. Anne has played many princesses in her time but she's never looked more the part, than right here. The loose hair is fun and young but because it is pushed behind her shoulders, all the attention is on how beautiful that gown is. A stunning red carpet moment.

I picked two extremes. Ultimate glamour and totally casual. The navy blazer fits her in all the places it should. That is the mark of a great tailor. She is walking somewhere witha  purpose and she looks amazing. Those flats are the perfect mix of comfort and fashion--not exactly the easiest thing to do.

Anne Hathaway in Marchesa [left] and in J Brand [right].

Marchesa. The brand for glamour, fun, and beautiful details. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig are masters of making gowns that make an impact on camera and in real life. They know how to make a woman look and feel sexy. That blue color is so vibrant and is such a great contrast with her bold, red lipstick. Brava Anne! :)

Next, another casual look. On some level I like casual looks better than red carpet looks. They give me ideas about what I want to put in my own closet, although don't get me wrong--I love the fantasy of the red carpet. But that's all it is fantasy. Most woman will never get the chance to wear a Marchesa gown to a movie premiere but we can always hope, can't we? In this look Anne is sleek, modern and totally put together.

I don't think I mentioned this earlier but Jake Gyllenhaal  is her co-star in Love and Other Drugs. Click here to check out the trailer. On another more somber note, I'd like to thank all those who have or are serving in the armed forces. Your sacrafice is appreciated. And thank you to all the families of those serving in the armed forces. I hope you have a nice Veteran's Day.

Style Highlights: Emma Watson

Emma Waston in Oscar de la Renta [left] and Marchesa [right].

This is a princess dress if I've seen one. I can't put into words how stunning she looks in this dress. The large tool skirt, on some girls, could've easily looked overwhelming and too showy but somehow Emma is able to shine through even with short hair. The beaded bodice is an excellent addition. This look is perfection!

Sleek, modern, and fresh. This Marcheas gown doesn't steal the show away from the nominees but it does make a statement. The fringe detailing at the shoulder and the beading at the neckline demand attetion. She takes a chance by pairing the look with super chic silver pumps to match the detailing of her mini.

Emma Waston in Vionnet [left] and Ossie Clarke [right].

This dress was a complete departure from anything we'd ever seen Emma wear before. It is dark and moody and stunning. The velvet fabric adds texture and demension to an otherwise simply cut dress. A bold hair cut and even bolder makeup choices transition this look from ordinary to stand-out. A tribal inspired necklace and classic pumps complete the look.

So simple and etherial. Emma looks so sweet and innocent in this flowing gown from Ossie Clarke. the pattern is so subtle that at first glance it almost doens't register. She doesn't need bold accessories for this look but I adore the simple, and subtle, red headband she chose to wear in her hair. Emma's makeup is simple and fresh. Beautiful!

What do you think of Emma's style? Which look is your favorite. Tell me in the comments bellow. Come chat with me on twitter! Check out my second blog!
